+  When food mysteriously goes,
+  The chances are that Pussy knows
+  More than she leads you to suppose.

+  If Puss should lose a meal or two,

+  And magpies never hesitate
+    To call her coward, thief and sneak.

+  A kitten need not be a dunce,
